當十年前，溫室效應、地球暖化還未成為各國討論焦點時，MJ就已經先點出來了，
用強烈的音符，強調地球只有一個。

不只這樣，真實的 Michael Jackson 是一個極有愛心的人，

他在歌中呼籲和平、宣傳環保，他也傳達博愛、關注社會、抨擊不公、消弭種族歧視，
"Black or White"、"Man in the Mirror"、"They Don't Care About Us"等等~

michael jackson親自譜寫動人的曲子《heal the world》，於1991年收錄在他dangerous這張專輯中。

當時是為了全世界的兒童，成立了一個兒童基金會，而麥可也為這個基金會命名為《heal the world》。

而他在現實在也是這樣做的——

在他二十多年的慈善事業生涯中，

他是全球所有藝人中捐助慈善事業最多的一位(3億美金)，

多次得到人道主義大獎，並兩次得到諾貝爾和平獎提名，

除了向全世界近四十個慈善機構作出捐贈外，他還創立多個基金會：
1984「麥可·傑克森燒傷中心」
1986「麥可·傑克森愛滋病救助中心」
1987「麥可·傑克森有色人種教育基金會」
1992「拯救世界基金會」
1993 「麥可·傑克森兒童醫院」
1999 「麥可傑克森糖尿病患者基金會」
2001「拯救兒童基金會Heal」

每年無償提供數以萬計的患者——特別是兒童患者，貧困患者醫療幫助。
